Google's new Nest Cameras are now available in Australia.
First shown off back in October 2025 alongside the Pixel 10, the new Google Nest Cam comes in two variants designed for either indoor outdoor usage.
The former is priced at $239.99 and comes armed with a 2K HDR camera and new Gemini integrations. These AI-enabled features include more detailed notifications and alerts that more accurately describe what your camera sees, the ability to search your video history using natural language, and the option to catch up quickly using AI-generated Home Briefs.
In addition to more megapixels and a few new tricks, the refreshed Nest Cam Outdoor also features a wider and taller field of view when compared to the previous model, as well as better low-light performance. The IP65-rated smart home camera is available in two colours – Snow and Hazel.
Meanwhile, the Indoor version of the new Nest Cam comes in at a cheaper asking price of $189. It features the same 2K HDR camera found in its outdoor-friendly counterpart, as well as the new Gemini-backed feature set. It's available in three colours: Snow, Hazel and Berry.
Although Google does bundle a free month of Google's Home Premium Subscription with the purchase of either new camera, you’ll have to shell out the extra $15 per month if you’re keen to hang onto the aforementioned AI features over the long run.
In Australia, the new Nest Cam Indoor and Nest Cam Outdoor are available to buy via both the Google website and retailers like JB Hi-Fi from this week.
