Research from WhistleOut shows how many Australians say they're willing to go into financial difficulty in order to buy a new iPhone 12.
The iPhone 12 family is here and Australia wants to buy it, according to the latest research.
A study from price comparison site WhistleOut found over a third (38%) of Australians expect to buy a new iPhone 12 before the end of the year, despite the fact that buying one will put many into financial difficulty.
Half (49%) of those planning to buy an iPhone 12 this year say paying $2,000 for a phone will put them into financial difficulty, with that number rising to two-thirds (64%) for younger age groups.
With nearly half the iPhone 12 range costing from $1,849 - $2,369, we can expect many Australians to feel financial pain ahead of Christmas as a result. Particularly as most people planning to buy an iPhone 12 (62%) are going to pay the full amount upfront, rather than over the life of a contract.
