How to switch mobile carriers and keep your phone number
Changing your mobile phone provider can seem like a daunting proposition and some people wonder if they can keep their number when they switch.

The short answer is Yes. You can always keep your phone number when changing provider. There are even laws that protect your right to switch and keep your digits.
If you want to switch mobile providers, your carrier is legally obligated to relinquish your number and transfer it to your new provider upon request.
