iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro colours: Which one is right for you?

The iPhone 13 range has landed, and so too has a new colour palette for us to 'oooh' and 'ahhhh' over.

Let's dive right in, shall we?

iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini colours

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini are available in five colours; pink, blue, midnight, starlight and red.

Pink

Like a dusty desert rose blooming against all the odds, the iPhone 13 pink colour says I am soft, but I am tough. I might be a delicate flower, but I will survive in harsh conditions. I am the gentle hue of a newborn's cheek, and I'm the shimmering glow of an early morning sunrise, delighting only those up at the crack of dawn to see. Gee, pink has come a long way, hasn't it?

Blue

I'm not like, a regular blue, I'm a cool blue. Actually, maybe I'm leaning towards warm turquoise? No, no, I'm really more of a teal. Or perhaps aquamarine? Nah, I'm not really into labels. Just call me blue.

Midnight

Midnight is the new black, but with added mystery and excitement. Goes perfectly with your little midnight dress... Hmmm, it doesn't quite have the same ring to it. Still, this is a sleek little number that goes with everything.

Starlight

Starlight - a one-hit-wonder from early 2000s band The Supermen Lovers, and now the colour of your new iPhone 13? Ohhhh starlight, can you give me the fame? Can you hurl me the game, ohhh starlight.

Red

Well, you're certainly not going to lose this bad boy at the bottom of your gym bag. Like a siren blaring through the night, this red says "I'm here to capture your attention". And it sure does. This is the cinnamon-flavoured tic tacs of iPhone 13 colours. Bold, and not exactly what you were expecting.

iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max

The iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max get right into the shimmery metallic, and are available in graphite, silver, gold and sierra blue.

Graphite

Yeah, as in the colour of the pencils you had to use in primary school before you got your pen license. Not quite grey, not quite silver, not quite black, just a nice shimmery in-between. Great for fence-sitters who aren't quite sure what they want.

Silver

Always the bridesmaid, never the bride - but you know the saying; first is the worst, second is the best, and silver will always be a winner in our eyes.

Gold

If you're confident enough to own a gold-coloured phone, then go forth and shine, friend. You glitz and glamour your way through life and put the "G" in bougie. In the wise words of Ariana Grande: I see it, I want it, I like it, I got it. Go for gold, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Sierra Blue

If blue is simply too basic for you, then Sierra Blue is the blue for you. It's true, this blue is simply a clue that Sierra Blue is the colour for you. It's a beautiful hue, it's true, it's true, do you like Irish stew? That's irrelevant, true, how do you do? Where were we? Oh yeah, Sierra Blue.
