Many of us would put up with a slightly thicker phone for a larger battery, but Energizer has taken this to the extreme with an absolute unit of a smartphone. The newly announced P18K Pop has a massive 18,000mAh battery packed in an 18mm thick body, which is ever-so-slightly slimmer than a stack of three iPhones.
So how just how long does an 18,000mAh last? For around 48 hours of straight video playback, a week of standard usage, or 50 days of standby time. That sure is some stamina.
While this kind of device certainly isn't for everyone, it could be an attractive option for anyone who regularly goes on extended treks or camping trips. Other than the chonk-factor and hefty weight, the major trade-off is that it will take you about eight hours to charge the P18K from flat to full.

One other notable feature is a pop-up front-facing camera which appears whenever you want to take a selfie. Thanks to this, the P18K's entire screen is entirely notchless and almost edge-to-edge.
Other key specifications include a 6.2-inch 1080p+ display, a MediaTek P70 processor, 128GB of expandable storage, 6GB of RAM, and a 15MP + 5MP + 2MP rear-facing camera.
Energizer-branded phones are built by French company Avenir Telecom, who licenses the brand name from the battery giant. The Energizer P18K Pop will launch internationally in June, but is unlikely to see an Australian launch.
