Motorola has started revealing details about its next flagship phone, a device it has named the Motorola Signature 27.
The high-end handset will be powered by Qualcomm's newly announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, feature speakers designed in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen, and pack four cameras on the back. One of these is a 50MP wide lens, and another is a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. Motorola has yet to confirm specifications for the other two lenses.
The only other confirmed details are that the phone will come in a choice of two Pantone colours - Coal Smoke or Capulet Olive - and that it will get seven years of major operating system upgrades and security updates. We don't know anything about battery capacity, storage, or screen size yet.
Motorola says the Signature 27 will be released before the end of 2026, and that it is slated for an Australian release. Pricing is also still an unknown.
While unusual, Motorola's partial reveal of the Signature 27 is similar to how it approached the Razr Fold. It first teased the phone in January and then provided full specifications in early March.
