How to change video quality settings on Netflix
It's easy to adjust your Netflix video quality settings via the browser or mobile app.
Note: Quality settings have to be adjusted on a per-profile basis. Changing quality settings on your profile won't affect quality settings for anyone else with a profile on your account.
- Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and choose Account
- Scroll down to Profile & Parental controls and tap the arrow on your profile to see the dropdown menu
- Scroll down to Playback settings and tap Change
- Select your desired playback setting and hit save
- Locate and tap the profile icon labelled My Netflix

However, if you're watching BritBox via the channel in Amazon Prime Video then you can adjust the video quality settings in the same way you would on that platform.
How to change video quality settings on Binge
The quickest way to adjust your video quality settings for Binge is while watching a show on the web or via the app.
- Click to bring up the playback settings
- Tap Audio & Settings
- Choose your preferred quality under Quality options
- Tap the Menu icon (represented by three lines)
- Tap Settings
- Toggle your preferred Playback Quality
Note: The same method as the web browser will work on the app if you prefer.
How to change video quality settings on Apple TV Plus
Apple TV Plus's streaming quality can be adjusted in a couple of places depending on how you're watching.
Note: There's no option to change video quality if you're watching Apple TV Plus in your web browser.
- Open the Settings app on your Apple TV
- Go to Video and Audio
- Select Format to set the video output including choosing the resolution, frame rate and dynamic range settings
- Open the Settings app
- Scroll down and tap on TV
- Under Streaming Options tap to toggle between High Quality or Data Saver options
How to change video quality settings on Disney Plus
Wherever you're watching Disney Plus it's easy to adjust your stream quality settings.
- Click your profile icon
- Select App settings
- Choose your stream quality under the Data Usage heading
- Tap your profile icon
- Tap App settings
- Tap W-Fi data usage or Mobile data usage under the Video Playback heading to adjust your settings
How to change video quality settings on Foxtel Now
To change Foxtel Now quality settings in your web browser or on the Foxtel Go app follow these steps:
- Click on the Settings cog
- Click App Settings
- Scroll down to Data usage and choose between Auto and Low quality settings

- Select your preferred quality between Auto and Low
How to change video quality settings on Paramount Plus
At the time of writing, you can't change the video quality on Paramount Plus. Shows and movies will automatically play in the definition they've been uploaded in on the platform.
If you're watching Paramount Plus via the channel in Amazon Prime Video then you can adjust the video quality settings in the same way you would on that platform.
