Jurassic Park movies. The Jurassic World series. Whatever you call it, you don't have to travel back to prehistoric times to watch the Jurassic movies. To sink your teeth into most of the Jurassic Park movies, grab a Binge or Foxtel Now subscription.
The Jurassic Park movies are living proof that critical acclaim and glowing user ratings aren't required to make a multi-billion dollar franchise. Everyone loves the original Jurassic Park. But there's no denying the quality dips for The Lost World: Jurassic Park, then trips down a hill for Jurassic Park III. After the initial trilogy, the Jurassic Park franchise sat dormant for, well, not quite 65 million years, but a long while in Hollywood time.
If you're like me, you would appreciate that Jurassic World is a decent course correction after a 14-year break between films, even if it was stepping in very familiar T-rex footprints. But it fell off a cliff with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, then tumbled deeper into a sinkhole for Jurassic World: Dominion. Ten years after the first soft reboot, Jurassic World: Rebirth trundled along for the series' second soft reset.
With $860+ million at the global box office, though, it's safe to say Rebirth will lead to another Jurassic World movie. We're not here to judge you if you want to watch them. But we are here to show you how to watch as many of the Jurassic Park/World movies as possible in Australia.
At the time of writing, the latest two Jurassic World movies weren't available on any streaming services in Australia. But the first five Jurassic Park movies are available to stream on Binge or Foxtel Now.
Where to watch the Jurassic Park (and World) movies
If you're keen to watch the Jurassic Park movies, you can see the original trilogy on Binge or Foxtel Now. Grab a subscription to either service to stream Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, and Jurassic Park III.
Additionally, Binge and Foxtel Now also let you stream the first two of the four Jurassic World movies. Get a sub to either so you can stream Jurassic World, plus Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Unfortunately, you won't be able to complete your streaming binge because neither Jurassic World: Dominion nor Jurassic World: Rebirth is available to stream on any service in Australia. You can, however, digitally rent or buy Jurassic World: Dominion and Jurassic World: Rebirth from Apple TV or Amazon Video.
The cheapest way to stream the available Jurassic Park movies is with a Binge subscription. Binge costs $10 per month or $79 per year for ad-supported streaming on one device. Alternatively, Binge Standard costs $19 per month or $149 per year for two streams in up to 4K quality. For streaming on up to four devices, Binge Premium costs $22 per month or $179 for the year.
For a pricier way to watch the Jurassic World movies, there are two Foxtel Now bundles to choose from, both of which offer two streams in up to 1080p quality. Foxtel Sports + Movies typically costs $84 per month. Otherwise, you can pay $104 per month for Foxtel Now Ultimate.
What is the Jurassic Park series about?
The Jurassic Park movies tell the story of what happens when scientists think it's a good idea to bring back dinosaurs from extinction. Spoilers: it doesn't work out so well for humanity. In the first movie, a group of experts – including palaeontologist Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) – and family members get to beta test the dino-filled Jurassic Park attraction ahead of the public. The dinos escape, and family-friendly horror ensues.
In The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Malcom is drawn into a visit to a different dino-filled island, wherein more people are munched by dinosaurs. Jurassic Park III revisits that second dino hotspot, this time with Grant being unwittingly enlisted to find a lost child. You'll never guess it, but dinos eat people in that movie, too.
Jurassic World pays off the promise of the original Jurassic Park by opening the titular theme park. But the smartphone-addicted modern person reckons dinosaurs are now dino-snores, so the ingenious scientists cook up a very cranky dino hybrid. I don't want to spoil anything here, but dinos escape and people are eaten.
The less said about Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Jurassic World: Dominion, the better. Suffice it to say the whole park aspect is ditched, but the hybrid dinosaur theme continues. People still haven't learnt what happens when dinos get loose, and some of these people are eaten.
For Jurassic World: Rebirth, it turns out there was a third dino-breeding island, which was working on hybrids. Scientists get munched in the backstory and, total shocker, so do the people in the present day who are on a mission to extract blood from very big, mostly terrifying dinosaurs.

What else is on Binge?
Binge (and Foxtel Now with movies) isn't what it used to be in terms of movies and TV shows (thanks, HBO Max!), but it's still home to old and new content that's worthy of the streaming service's namesake. For older TV series, get stuck into The Shield, Mr Inbetween, or Arrested Development; alternatively, check out newer shows like The Twelve: Cape Rock Killer, The Paper, or Atomic.
If movies are more your speed, Binge has more than just the Jurassic Park series. Check out a mix of newer flicks like Wicked, Gladiator II, or Spit. If you're in the mood for classic films, Binge is home to movies like Happy Gilmore, A Few Good Men, and 28 Days Later.
How Binge compares to other streaming services
The arrival of Netflix, Paramount Plus, HBO Max, and other streaming services in Australia may have eaten into the breadth of content offered on Binge.
