Dodo has refreshed its mobile plans, adding 5G connectivity to select plans, introducing a new top-tier while also removing its cheapest.
While most of Dodo's mobile plans have gotten a few dollars per month more expensive, the telco's $35 per month plan got a price cut to $33 per month (albeit with a slightly smaller data allowance).
Here's how Dodo's old and new plans compare:
| Old plan | New plan |
|---|---|
| $10 per month with 2GB | $15 per month with 4GB (Not available to new customers) |
| $20 per month with 15GB | $23 per month with 15GB |
| $25 per month with 25GB | $28 per month with 30GB |
| $35 per month with 45GB | $33 per month with 40GB (5G) |
| - | $38 per month with 60GB (5G) |
5G connectivity is only available on the $33 per month and $38 per month plans, with speeds capped to 100Mbps. Data rollover is available on plans from $23 per month and up, as are international calling inclusions. Customers get a minimum of $100 of international call credit. The plans all also have unlimited data, with customers capped to download speeds of 256Kbps if they exceed their data allowance instead of being charged extra.
All existing Dodo mobile customers will be moved over to the equivalent plan in the coming months. Customers who want to move early can contact Dodo's customer support.
It's worth noting that Dodo's new $15 per month plan is only available for customers currently on the $10 per month plan. New customers can't purchase or downgrade to the $15 per month plan.
New customers can currently save 25% off their first three months on Dodo's $28 and $33 per month plan. This brings them down to $21 per month and $24.75 per month, respectively.

Dodo's mobile plans aren't quite as aggressively priced as the competition, but its plans have more features than the competition. While TPG and iiNet currently have the cheapest plans in our database($12.50 per month for 25GB for the first six months, and $25 per month thereafter), but 100 minutes of international calls are the only premium feature included.
Conversely, Dodo's $23 per month plan also has 500GB of data banking, and unlimited data. The plan is actually the cheapest unlimited data plan currently available.
