Samsung today revealed the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition, a user-customisable version of its latest flip phone. Instead of picking from the company's standard colour options, buyers are instead able to pick out colours for the front, back, and frame.
Users can mix and match blue, pink, yellow, white, and black for the front and back, and the frame comes in a choice of black or silver. Samsung says there are a total of 49 different combinations customers can create. We're quite partial to a pink front, white back, with a black frame.
Other than personalised colour options, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition is identical to a non-customised Z Flip 3. It is however slightly more expensive: you'll pay $1,679 to get your pick of colours, which is an $80 premium over the 256GB Galaxy Z Flip 3. The Bespoke Edition also comes with 256GB of storage.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition is exclusively available through the Samsung website. You won't be able to get it on a plan, for example.
When we reviewed the Galaxy Z Flip 3 earlier this year, we thought it represented a great improvement over the original model thanks to a larger external display and a lower price point. Subpar battery life was a concern, however; Samsung's flippy lad doesn't just last quite as long as other phones.
