Watching Harry Potter online is always a mixed bag. The entire collection will appear on one Australian streaming service and then as if by magic, will be gone before you get the chance to watch it. Riddikulus right?
If you were to stare into the Mirror of Erised only to see yourself watching a Harry Potter movie marathon, then we can show you how to make your deepest, most desperate desire a reality.
HBO Max
The easiest way to get your Potter binge on in Australia is with HBO Max. While they all used to be available on Binge, they've flown across to HBO Max since it covers the Warner Bros. network.

Rent or buy online
Apple TV, YouTube, iTunes and Google Play all allow you to rent or buy every Harry Potter movie to watch in Australia. Regardless of your allegiances, you’ll pay $4.99 per film for a 4K rental or $14.99 to buy and own the magic forever. That comes to a little under $40 to rent them all or $119.92 to own all eight Harry Potter movies.
For comparison, you could turn the time-turner back and buy the Complete 8-Film DVD collection for around $70 on Amazon. Even better, when the courier arrives you get the chance to practice your parcel-tongue.
Unfortunately the PlayStation store does not currently have the Harry Potter movies available to download in Australia, but Xbox and Windows users can buy and rent the films from the Microsoft Store for the same price as Google and iTunes.
