HBO Max has become the go-to destination for top-tier HBO and Warner Bros Discovery content in Australia. With major exclusives like the Game of Thrones spin-offs A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and the upcoming third season of House of the Dragon, HBO Max has taken over from Binge as the streaming destination for premium drama in Australia.
That premium content also comes with a premium price tag: HBO Max plans range from $11.99 to $21.99 per month, making it one of the more expensive streaming options in Australia. Fortunately, there are a few discounts available to help you lock in lower rates.
HBO Max subscriptions: How do they compare?
There are three HBO Max plans available in Australia to choose from: Basic with Ads, Standard and Premium. Here's what each of them offer and how they compare on price:

Though the HBO exodus on Binge has taken its toll, there's still a lot to see there if you're a fan of popular shows such as Taskmaster, The Day of the Jackal, Law & Order: SVU and Mr. Inbetween.
