Three months of Standard for $5 per month

Until September 7 2026, Paramount Plus is offering select subscribers three months of Standard for just $5 per month instead of $12.99 per month. This is an saving of $23.97 over the three months, so essentially you're getting almost two month free.

Annual plan discounts

A select few streaming services, such as Disney Plus, Binge and Prime Video, offer generous discounted pricing if you commit to a full year. And Paramount Plus is another one.

While this does mean you'll have to lock yourself in and make one big upfront payment, financially it can put you in front. If you time it right, billing won't sting as much; we suggest aiming for EOFY if you're one of the lucky ones who gets a tax return.

Below we've calculated the savings you could pocket simply by switching your monthly billing to a single annual payment:

Seven-day free trial

Interestingly, few big-name streaming services offer a free trial period these days, we're looking at you, Disney Plus and Netflix. And for others, they come and go but Paramount Plus has always offered a seven-day free trial to all new signups.

But once your trial is up, you will be automatically charged the full plan price that you select upon sign-up. So either binge what you can while you can, then set a reminder to cancel or be prepared to pay.

Bundle subscriptions with SubHub

Optus SubHub is a handy way to pool all your streaming subscriptions it one, easy-to-pay bill plus maybe even score a discount. When you bundle two eligible pay TV subscriptions with SubHub, you'll get 5% off your bill or any three or more to unlock 10% off.

One caveat is Paramount Plus' Standard monthly subscription tier is the only one currently available for bundling via SubHub. However, you'll still be eligible for the seven-day free trial of if you bundle via Optus Sub-Hub.

SubHub allows the bundling of Netflix, Amazon Prime, Paramount Plus, Kayo Sports, Binge, BritBox, NBA League Pass, Microsoft 365, YouTube Premium, Google One, GeForce NOW, Hayu, DAZN, Spacetalk and Kindle Unlimited. Many of these also come with free trials to get you started, including Paramount Plus, as we mentioned earlier.
