For a limited time Foxtel subscribers will be able to watch Season 1 of the Amazon exclusive The Summer I Turned Pretty through Foxtel's streaming infrastructure. The show will be available between June 24 and July 22, screening every Tuesday on Showcase, or on demand through Foxtel Now, Foxtel Go, and BiQ.
The promo leads into the latest season of The Summer I Turned Pretty, which debuts July 16 on Prime Video. The two pay TV platforms have undergone similar arrangements in the past, such as last year when Foxtel showed the whole first season of The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power before the second season launch.
This will be the final season of the global hit, with the 11 episodes to be rationed out every Wednesday until September 17. Based on the best-selling book series by Jenny Han, the final season sees Belly and Jeremiah looking forward to another summer together, that is before her first love Conrad re-enters the picture. This last summer sees her at a crossroads, battling a love triangle, complicated family dynamics, and the enduring love of girlhood.
Season two rocketed to #1 on the Prime Video charts, surpassing the first season's popularity in a matter of days. For now, Foxtel subscribers will still need to sign up to Prime Video to watch both season two and season three.
