Woolworths Mobile prepaid SIM Starter Pack

Yesterday, we reported a great SIM-only prepaid deal from Optus: $25 off its $30 SIM Starter Kit. But if you're still on the search for a great new SIM-only offer, Woolworths Mobile is also getting in on the discount game - slashing its $45 SIM Starter Pack by 50%.

From now through to November 21, you can pick up a $45 SIM kit for just $22.50 when you buy online. The promo applies solely to its $45 Starter Pack, so you'll need to bring your own unlocked phone to a Woolworths Mobile prepaid plan to qualify.

$45 SIM Starter Pack: what's included

The prepaid SIM pack includes all the features of Woolworths' $45 prepaid recharge, including unlimited standard national calls and text. You'll also get 10GB of data, plus unlimited standard calls to Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, New Zealand, South Africa, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and $100 for other international and non-standard calls.

Also great? Data rollover is included on this plan, provided you recharge before your expiry date. Any unused megabytes will automatically be rolled over to the following month, and unlike competing providers, you'll get to keep it until September 30, 2018.

However, customers can only store up to 15GB of rolled over data, and you'll need to recharge on the same or higher plan (in this case, $45) to keep accumulating data. A more detailed look at Woolworths Mobile's rollover options can be found here.

Extras and coverage

Customers on Woolies prepaid can also add extra features to their plan at any time. If you need more data, you can bolt on 250MB for $5, 500MB for $7.50, 1GB for $10, or 3GB for $25. For international and extras, $9.99 buys you $200 of credit, while $24.99 comes with $500 worth of international and non-standard calls and services.

All of Woolworths Mobile's prepaid plans, plus prepaid extras, come with a 30-day expiry. And if you're concerned about coverage, all Woolworths plans are offered on Telstra's 3G and 4G nationwide networks.
