Just as Lily's situation borders on desperate, she crosses paths with an old flame, Atlas (Brandon Sklenar), escalating Ryle's behaviour to the breaking point. Who will Lily choose? What path will she take? Is love enough?

Verity is one of Colleen Hoover's most jaw-dropping novels and follows the story of a struggling writer, Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson), who catches her big break when she is specifically requested by Jeremy Crawford (Josh Hartnett), husband of bestselling author, Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway), to ghost-write the remaining novels in her successful series.
It all starts off great when she's put up in their fancy home, but things turn sour when she uncovers Verity's unfinished autobiography - one she never meant for anyone to read.
Her chapters detail bone-chilling admissions about her life and family, which culminate in Verity's recollection of what truly happened the day her daughter died. When Lowen develops romantic feelings for Jeremy, she wrestles with the decision to share these 'confessions' with him to help him let Verity go once and for all.
