Binge is the latest streaming service to introduce annual pricing, allowing subscribers to effectively get four months free by committing to a year at a time.
Binge's annual pricing starts at $79 per year for a Basic plan, which is normally billed at $10 per month. That works out to be a saving of $41 per year.
A Standard annual subscription is billed at $149 per year, which is a $67 saving when compared to monthly pricing. Lastly, a Premium subscription is billed at $179 per year, which saves you $85.
In each case, the saving is roughly equivalent to the price you'd pay for four months on that tier.
Here's every Binge plan you can currently get:
If you're an existing Binge subscriber and want to swap to an annual subscription, you'll need to cancel your plan first and wait until the end of your billing period. You'll then be able to resubscribe to an annual plan.
If you have Hubbl, Binge's annual subscriptions don't count towards the Stack and Save discount. Similarly, the Binge seven-day free trial doesn't apply to annual subscriptions.
WhistleOut understands there are currently no plans to launch annual subscriptions for other Foxtel streaming services such as Kayo and Flash.
