Disney Plus has announced ESPN will arrive on the platform in Australia from March 26.
From then ESPN will be available to all existing Disney Plus Standard and Premium subscribers, who will be able to access it through a new ESPN hub from the home screen.
ESPN includes over 10,000 hours of live sports programming including the upcoming NBA Playoffs and NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
ESPN1 and ESPN2 also include popular programs like SportsCenter, The Pat McAfee, NBN Today and First Take as well as live events, on-demand replays and other original content.
The streamer previously announced the expansion into sports programming last month, followed shortly by a price increase. While the price of Disney Plus's two subscription tiers has already gone up for new customers, it will affect existing subscribers on their first billing date from March 26 onwards.
Here are Disney Plus' plans:
ESPN will be available for streaming alongside a raft of Disney Plus entertainment content including films and TV from Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars, plus National Geographic and STAR.
Starting at $15.99 per month, Disney Plus will be one of the cheapest options in Australia to watch ESPN, which will still be available via Foxtel, Kayo Sports, and Fetch TV.
Kayo Sports' Basic plan costs $25 per month and Foxtel's Sports package costs $65 on a 12-month plan (plus hardware fees).
Fetch is cheaper, with ESPN available in its Sports pack for $6 per month. You can't use Fetch without a set-top box, however, which will set you back a minimum of $198 for a Fetch Mini.
